Setting out from Belfast, you’ll follow the winding Antrim Coast Road to discover castles, rope bridges, and hidden harbors along the way.

I cannot say enough good things about Prestige Tours!!!! We had a fantastic week with our driver Billy George- he was so friendly & easy to get along with. He provided us a great experience as we traveled around Ireland. We really enjoyed his company. He was a really great driver & very funny too! James our driver from Dublin to Belfast was also awesome! He provided great insight to the history of Ireland & the troubles in Belfast. I think my husband would have talked to him for 10days straight if given the opportunity. The vehicles were really clean & nice. The itinerary was perfect!! We loved Ireland & this experience soooo much.

Causeway Coastal Route, A Road of Legends

Your driver-guide takes you north along the Causeway Coastal Route, where rugged cliffs plunge into the sea and sweeping bays sparkle in the Atlantic light.

As you wind along the shoreline, your guide shares tales of clan chiefs, fishermen, and shipwrecks that have shaped this storied coast.

Giant’s Causeway Path of the Giants

At the day’s highlight, explore the Giant’s Causeway, a surreal wonder of 40,000 basalt columns formed by volcanic forces millions of years ago.

Legend says the mighty Finn McCool built this path to Scotland to challenge his rival, but you’ll find out more about this tale when you visit here with your guide!

Spend time exploring all the most iconic formations, the Giant’s Boot, the Wishing Chair, and the Organ Pipes, each with its own blend of geology and myth.

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Northern Ireland

For a thrill, cross the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, originally rigged by salmon fishermen centuries ago.

Suspended nearly 100 feet above the waves, each step brings exhilarating views of Rathlin Island and even Scotland on a clear day. Your guide will share the fishing traditions, perils, and folklore that made this crossing a lifeline.

We booked a one day tour from Prestige Tours Ireland as a way to get from Belfast to Bushmills with the bonus of seeing the sights and the Causeway coast. Our guide, Scott, was waiting for us when we left our AirBnB and since I had two hungry young adults, he immediately took us to a great breakfast place he knew on the way to our first stop, Carrickfergus Castle. We had a great time talking with him about Northern Ireland and laughing through a full Irish breakfast. Scott gave us lots of time at our stops and suggested a few additional scenic views like Royal Portrush and Ballintoy Harbor. He was wonderful. Also, working with Prestige is well worth the cost, they handle all the ticketing for your stops - we chose the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge as a major stop -- don't miss it! We were transporting our suitcases with us so we had a very comfortable Mercedes van with lots of room for 4 adults, backpacks and suitcases. I would definitely recommend Prestige if you are not interested in driving on the left hand side of the road!

Dunluce Castle

Dunluce Castle ruins on the rugged cliffs of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on a bright sunny day, a popular stop on Ireland sightseeing and heritage tours
Dunluce Castle, Ireland

Clinging to a sheer cliff, the ruins of Dunluce Castle make for one of Ireland’s most dramatic sights.

Once a stronghold of the MacDonnell clan, the castle’s history is filled with sieges, rivalries, and ghostly tales. From the battlements, gaze out over the restless sea and imagine the life and danger of those who once lived here.

Ballintoy Harbour

Scenic view of Ballintoy Harbour in Northern Ireland with stone buildings, rocky coastline, clear blue water, and green cliffs under a bright sky
Ballintoy, Northern Ireland

Your final stop is Ballintoy Harbor, a sheltered cove of rugged rocks, seabirds, and fishing boats.

It’s a place where folklore lingers in the sea breeze, and your guide will share how its secluded beauty has inspired storytellers and filmmakers alike.

Return to Belfast

Our private day trip concludes as your driver takes you back to Belfast for the evening.

Absolutely amazing! Tom, our guide, took us from Belfast to Derry and back, stopping at the regular spots, plus the random spots from my husband's lineage, and then Tom added in places we didn't know about--and were fabulous. Tom's knowledge of the area is vast and he's so friendly and relaxed, which made for great travel. We'll find Tom and Prestige Tours Ireland next visit for sure.
